Hey sugassssss, I have one year of graduate school down and have been slightly dreading this semester's grades 'cause when I tell you I BARELY passed one class. Baby I barely passed.
You are not allowed to get lower than C in any course for your master's degree and you can only have two C's on your degree to get your diploma and both classes I was in challenged ya girl. So the last month in school I kicked it into full gear and was calculating points and percentages just to make sure I would be able to pass and I did. All in all I learned 1.When you don't know what to do ask ask ask and ask again. 2. Email IS your best-friend. 3. If A Teacher is being unreasonable hit them with the Triple Threat (1. document them 2.report them, 3. end of the year teacher evaluation.) 4. Self-Care 5.Prioritize Time EXTRA wisely 6. Enjoy the time Thanks for reading lovelies! Peace & Blessings, <3 Nándi

![]() Sugar Boogz its been a hot second but I am coming at you with a brand new attitude (heavy Patti LaBelle emphasis). Anywhooooooooo, I have had some time to myself and here is what I came to the realization of. I DESERVE to act in a manner that would cause every person on my team to chant AYE!!!!!! What I mean by that is gosh darn it I deserve some hard earned fun, but not before I get my work done. So lovelies the advice for this week is to YES! Act Up! but not without getting your *ish done. Thanks for reading lovelies! Peace & Blessings, <3 Nándi ![]() 1. Roll How You Can Afford: Do Not get tangled up into traveling like others do whether it be an ill timed road trip with less than appealing company or flying and paying obscene baggage charges because your bags are overweight (been there NOT GOING BACK) Travel how you want and the method you want to. Consider it a treat to yourself and whether or not you have a friend to travel with cherish the solitude and save those coins. 2. Snack-Call (Role- Call): Pre-purchase snacks to avoid overpriced airport or train station food cause baybayyyy if y’all are anything like me y’all will end up overspending and wasting money that could be used elsewhere. 3. Travel Company’s: Shop around before you splurge on Uber or Lyfts/Taxis etc. If you have family in the area or friends ask them for help with transportation and what are the BEST days and times to travel. For example: if you travel in CT anywhere rush hour traffic is TRAGIC. So I avoid booking flights around 4-7 PM. I avoid traffic and am able to get to where I need without stress. However if you aren’t from CT you wouldn’t know that so ask, ask, ASK!!!! 4. The Bigger The Bag The More You Can Stash: I find traveling by train super convenient while going to and from Grad school and it had not been this way in undergrad. (I flew quite frequently seeing as though no train routes went into the town that I went to school in). Traveling by train you can take up to four bags with you (size is suppose to matter but it really don't though) Which means as the tip says (the bigger your bag, the MORE your can stash!!! & nooooo excess baggage fee!
