Watch out for distractions, temptations and detours that will take you off the path to being the woman God has called you to be.
Trust me, the people, places and things that God has for you won't compromise that journey. 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV) "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Thanks for reading lovelies! Peace & Blessings <3 Nándi

Honey lamb, mistakes are a part of being human.
Remind yourself as Tamar did with those three words above, "I Ain't Jesus." before succumbing to your own pity party. Your not perfect boo boo. & the dope thing is, you don't have to pretend to be. Remember lovelies Jesus is not afraid of our mess. Learning to embrace your mistakes will make you quicker to go to Him for the solution. Jesus is in the business of turning our messes into messages and that's exactly why we can be confident in the ministry of our High Priest. Hebrews 4:15-16 (NKJV) "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Thanks for reading lovelies! I had to remind myself that what other people think or say about me won't matter at the end of my life. I had to remind myself that I was not placed here on this earth to please other people. I was created to worship God with my entirety and as long as I am living my life to please him, that is all that matters. So lovelies when you find yourself giving a care about what another person thinks or says about you, CHECK YOURSELF via the scripture below. Galatians 1:10 NKJV "For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ." Thanks for reading lovelies! Peace & Blessings <3 Nándi Confession Time: Trusting God is difficult aF
After I would receive a word from God about certain areas in my life I would expect God to give me a play-by-play of how He was going to bring those things to pass. Little did I know that God wasn't too concerned with showing me HOW He would do things, but WHO He is as a father, provider, protector and more. God showed me that He wanted me to look past my desire to know everything and trust His character and not my circumstances. So friends, my advice is the same as a well known Proverb in scripture. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Thanks for reading lovelies! But, as I searched through the Bible I kept coming across a particular part of scripture, Isaiah 53:4-12. I kid you not, every time I read this passage that prophetically talked about Jesus' journey to Calvary I cried. I began to realize the magnitude of the love that Jesus had for me. Then I realized that I did not show that same love towards other people even though I professed Christianity. It was hard for me to forgive & continue to love a person after being hurt by them because I did not like their actions towards me. That's when I realized 1. )Love and like were two different things. 2.) I definitely was not loving others the way Jesus did. 3.)Choosing to continue a relationship with the person/people who have hurt you. You are loving like Jesus did. He choose to love us even though that choice would lead Him to a cross He did not deserve to carry. Jesus loved me even though He didn't like my actions and that love made a way for me to receive forgiveness. This truth helps me to love the unlovely in other flawed human beings like me. Practicing this kind of love is what set my captive heart free. Mathew 18: 21-22 (NKJV) Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Thanks for reading lovelies! Peace & Blessings <3 Nándi |
