Can I be candid? Like Sarah, I doubted the word of God.
In the Bible, God had promised Sarah and Abraham a son, which God instructs them to name Isaac. Eventually Abraham and Sarah have Isaac, but before that happens Sarah doubted God's promise to her and Abraham. Sarah's doubt caused her to prompt Abraham to sleep with her maid, who gets pregnant and eventually gives birth to Ishmael (not the promised son). Genesis 16:1-4 (NKJV) "Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. And she had an Egyptian maidservant whose name was Hagar. So Sarai said to Abram, “See now, the Lord has restrained me from bearing children. Please, go in to my maid; perhaps I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai. Then Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan. So he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress became despised in her eyes. " (s/n: Abram & Sarai/Abraham & Sarah are the same people) Regarding your love life it is not your job to figure out how everything is going to happen and make it happen yourself. So please do not make the same mistake as Sarah & Abraham. Whoever God has for you and how he brings him to you may not be anything like how you thought or expected it to be. Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts." I encourage you lovelies to wait on your Isaac (God's plan) & refuse to settle for Ishmael (your way). Thanks for reading lovelies! Peace & Blessings, <3 Nándi
